Youth Mental Health Counselor - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

Position Overview

Carsigma Health & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team in Folsom, California. This full-time role primarily involves providing mental health services remotely through a combination of telehealth and in-person sessions in our outpatient facility. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing strong rapport and trust while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, stability, and to discuss future appointments, including discharges when appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and continually evaluate individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Maintain precise, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client to track treatment effectiveness and ensure quality care.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients’ needs and readiness for treatment.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailored methodologies.
• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
• Embrace a growth mindset in all work aspects, actively seeking feedback and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically targets youth, focusing on a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Clinicians are encouraged to employ innovative strategies and provide a safe, therapeutic environment that fosters trust and open communication, enabling young clients to express their feelings and navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in mental health, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is required.
• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements within clinical settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
• Experience conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and facilitating individual and group therapy.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Carsigma Health & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
