Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor clients presenting with mood disorders through comprehensive evaluations to understand the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that are aligned with their unique goals, preferences, and needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement therapeutic interventions using established techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients' healing journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices, aiming to empower them through knowledge.

• Continuously monitor client progress, documenting changes and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to optimize care outcomes.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring all aspects of the client's health are addressed.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment, integrating new findings into your therapeutic framework to enhance care effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, which is crucial for providing quality care.

Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
