Remote Mental Health Therapist (Licensed: LMFT, LPC, LICSW)

Canvas of Emotion Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Mental Health Therapist (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT, Licensed Professional Counselor - LPC, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker - LICSW) to join our team in Federal Way, Washington. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the underlying issues affecting clients and establish effective therapeutic models tailored to facilitate their recovery. For example, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to gauge client needs and formulate treatment pathways.
• Facilitate referrals to psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), or substance use disorder specialists when additional assessment or services are warranted.
• Provide actionable solutions and develop coping strategies for clients dealing with a range of issues including low self-esteem, familial conflicts, substance dependencies, and suicidal ideation.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment responses, making sure to analyze data effectively to continually refine treatment methods for optimal client outcomes.
• Engage with clients’ family members when appropriate, offering guidance to assist in monitoring behavioral changes and treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population that includes individuals with mental health disorders, people experiencing substance use challenges, and those with intellectual disabilities. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, validated by a third-party service.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong understanding of mental health treatment modalities and willingness to stay current with industry trends and research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse populations, especially those with complicated mental health issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools.
• Previous roles in community health settings, preferably in behavioral health.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, based on the caseload and candidate experience.
