Work Environment

This role is 100% remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled therapy sessions with clients via video chat, providing empathetic listening and guidance.
• Encourage clients to articulate their emotions and experiences, creating a safe space for dialogue.
• Assist clients in establishing and achieving actionable therapeutic goals tailored to their needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to identify potential behavioral patterns that may hinder recovery.
• Advise clients on healthy coping strategies and monitor their progress throughout their personalized treatment plans.
• Document clinical sessions and treatment outcomes through our secure online counselor dashboard, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client focus primarily includes stable adults seeking support for mood disorders. All clients are thoroughly screened to ensure they are engaging with our platform for appropriate reasons, allowing you to work with individuals who are motivated and ready for therapy. This focus allows for a more consistent and productive therapeutic relationship, ultimately enhancing treatment efficacy.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington state.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mood disorders, including effective treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in treating mood disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, for a holistic treatment approach.
• A proven track record of successful client outcomes, showcasing your ability to implement effective therapeutic techniques.
