Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough individual and family therapy assessments during scheduled sessions and on an as-needed basis to gauge the mental health status and therapeutic needs of your clients.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, adhering to an established schedule that promotes community, support, and healing among participants.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, ensuring that healthy boundaries and professional ethics are upheld at all times.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an adaptable approach while working with clients from various backgrounds and with diverse mental health diagnoses.
• Utilize psychosocial assessments to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client.
• Accurately document all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and patient progress in compliance with medical necessity standards and regulations.
• Complete and submit daily charge sheets to track patient sessions and ensure transparent communication regarding clinical work performed.
• Actively contribute to weekly treatment planning meetings, where you will present patient progress and collaborate with fellow team members to define optimal care strategies.
• Assist in the development and execution of Discharge Aftercare Plans, ensuring continuum of care for patients transitioning out of therapy.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health care through workshops, seminars, and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, transitional age youth, adults, and geriatric clients. You will utilize a client-centered approach to tailor your therapeutic techniques to meet the specific needs and cultural considerations of each group, ensuring that you address both psychological and physical well-being in a respectful manner.

Qualifications

• A valid, unrestricted license in the State of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth or remote therapy settings is highly desirable.
• Prior work experience with a broad spectrum of mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues.

Compensation and Benefits
