Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess their mental health needs and identify appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with client preferences and goals, using evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitating therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
• Responding with professionalism to crisis situations, utilizing your expertise to de-escalate conflicts and provide immediate support.
• Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss case management, share insights, and collaborate on client care strategies.
• Staying updated with research and developments in mental health practices to ensure the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on providing mental health services to low-acuity clients who have been pre-screened to ensure they receive the most appropriate type of care. You will work with diverse client backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other common mental health concerns. Your tailored, compassionate approach will be crucial in fostering therapeutic rapport and facilitating positive client outcomes.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong skills in building a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients, fostering an environment of trust and respect.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate client engagement and interprofessional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to managing client records and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience working in community health settings or with low-acuity clients will be given preference. Familiarity with teletherapy practices and virtual counseling platforms is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
