Position Overview

Work Environment

Our remote work setting allows you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or any location of your choosing. Our outpatient office services clients who are prescreened, stable, and exhibit low acuity, allowing for focused, supportive therapeutic relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling via video chat, utilizing evidence-based practices to improve clients' mental health.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and experiences, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
• Act as an advocate for clients, helping them articulate their therapy goals and navigate the pathways to achieve these objectives.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions, and create tailored treatment plans that leverage your clinical insights.
• Implement a strengths-based approach to therapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques grounded in best practices.
• Consult with other mental health professionals as needed to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include a diverse array of individuals seeking support for varying mental health concerns. They have been prescreened to ensure a stable and manageable caseload. Our focus on low-acuity cases allows counselors to provide intensive and personalized care, ensuring meaningful engagement and therapeutic success. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license issued by the state board as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed professional evaluations and sound decisions regarding treatment planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for the fostering of trusting relationships with clients.
• Strong computer literacy to effectively navigate our therapist portal and utilize digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling platforms.
• Prior work with diverse populations, ideally in an outpatient setting.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic techniques or specialties, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, or solution-focused approaches.
