Position Overview

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the Sanfield Group Family Counseling, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals in need. Work Environment

In our 100% remote setting, you will enjoy the flexibility to create your own work schedule, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our telehealth environment facilitates seamless communication and allows you to deliver care without the constraints of traditional in-person settings, while ensuring you have access to team consultations and support whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer weekly evidence-based therapy sessions via live video to individual adult clients, utilizing the latest teletherapy platforms.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and psychiatric providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans and adjust them based on client needs.
• Utilize automatically administered symptom self-assessments and progress measures to monitor client wellbeing and adapt treatment strategies proactively.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records to facilitate continuity of care and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult clients from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and other complex emotional difficulties. Emphasizing a culturally responsive approach, you will be expected to create a safe and affirming space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work, leading to eligibility for licensure as a mental health professional (LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT).
• A valid independent license in your field, with a minimum of one year of post-licensure experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to treating a diverse client population with empathy and respect.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and online platforms to deliver mental health services effectively.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of recent experience providing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to adult clients dealing with various mental health disorders.
• Experience serving higher-risk populations and those facing significant mental health challenges is beneficial.
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
