Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate mental health needs, ensuring a tailored approach to each client's unique circumstances.
• Create personalized treatment plans, seamlessly integrating traditional therapeutic approaches with alternative methods, aimed at enhancing patient engagement and effectiveness.
• Provide both remote counseling sessions and occasional in-person support depending on client needs, ensuring flexibility and accessibility.
• Maintain meticulous client records, documenting therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to track the patient's journey and outcomes accurately.
• Engage in professional development opportunities such as workshops and seminars to continually refine your therapeutic skills and knowledge base.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions to foster collaboration and share best practices across the organization.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at Mind Ease Advocate Mental Health Services is on cancer patients, including those newly diagnosed, in active treatment, experiencing recurrence, or in palliative care. We strive to support not just the patients but also their caregivers, offering compassionate counseling, coping strategies, and resources pertinent to their mental health needs during such challenging times.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active Licenses: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a third-party service.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with oncology patients or in medical settings is a significant advantage.
• Competency in telehealth practices and familiarity with online counseling platforms.
• Skills in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and strengths-based approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
