Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to discern their specific mental health needs. This involves in-depth evaluations and a collaborative approach to developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's situation.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions—this may involve individual counseling sessions, couples therapy, or group therapy, depending on the client's preferences and needs.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize effectiveness and adapt to changing client needs.
• Educate clients on coping strategies and techniques that promote mental wellness, allowing them to apply these skills in their daily lives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as needed, ensuring a holistic approach to care that encompasses various aspects of health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, which may include attending workshops, participating in advanced certification trainings, and seeking clinical supervision to hone your skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid Washington State license is necessary, either as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is preferred, particularly within a behavioral health setting.

Compensation and Benefits
