Key Responsibilities

• Utilize clinical expertise to perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients, identifying their mental health needs, strengths, and areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's circumstances, adjusting as necessary to reflect changes in their status.
• Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with clients' family members, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to care and facilitate successful treatment outcomes.
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks by evaluating the needs of new, current, and discharged patients, ensuring effective management of your caseload.
• Provide referrals to additional services, such as support groups or psychiatrists, when it benefits the client's overall well-being.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, adhering to the scope of the Mental Health Practice Act, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice.
• Educate and liaise with different patient care teams to resolve any issues concerning client care and discharge planning.
• Act as an advocate for clients by facilitating communication between them and various stakeholders to optimize their care journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds facing different challenges in mental health. You will provide care for adults and adolescents grappling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Building rapport and trust will be fundamental as you engage with clients, understanding their unique experiences and fostering a therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current State Licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
• Proven ability to navigate community mental health resources effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and compassionate interactions with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse patient population within a community health setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

Rocky Meadow Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually. To attract top talent, we are also providing a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
