Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring an ethical and compassionate approach that prioritizes client well-being.
• Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities to create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Engage with clients to develop insights into their experiences, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, fostering a deeper understanding of their mental health challenges.
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and help clients develop healthy coping strategies to better handle life’s challenges.
• Manage a full clinical caseload efficiently, with the expectation that counselors will typically establish their caseload within weeks of joining.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a stable adult population experiencing low-acuity mental health challenges. These clients may present a variety of conditions, including but not limited to mild anxiety, generalized stress, and relationship issues. Your role will be to assist them in developing the necessary skills and insights to enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current state-issued independent mental health counseling license (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW). Please note that we do not offer supervision for provisionally licensed counselors.
• No current disciplinary actions on your license, with a preference for therapists who embody exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy.
• Strong computer literacy, with experience using telehealth platforms for virtual therapy.
• Access to a computer with webcam and audio capabilities, along with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in a telehealth setting.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities that enhance client engagement and outcomes.
