Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process for assigned positions across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR teams to attract, assess, and hire top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with recruiting processes. The Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for recruitment activities and plays a key role in supporting workforce growth and organizational success.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly, professional, and technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
• Create and post job requisitions through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external recruitment platforms.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview scheduling and communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records within the ATS and HR systems.
• Manage candidate communications throughout the recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
• Prepare and coordinate employment offers, background checks, and pre-employment activities.
• Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Participate in career fairs, campus recruiting initiatives, and community outreach events.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on requisition status, candidate pipelines, and hiring trends.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, EEO requirements, and company recruiting policies.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related HR experience.
• Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with hiring managers and candidates at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Preferred

• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, operations, professional, or technical positions.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
• Experience using the ADP Workforce Now Recruiting module is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting recruiting metrics and workforce planning activities.
• Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or Talent Acquisition certifications are a plus.

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. The annual salary is $52,000-$65,000.
