BD/Account Executive (Environmental/Infrastructure Services)

Our client is a growing Tampa-based provider of stormwater infrastructure services, delivering maintenance and repair solutions to construction, municipal, and commercial clients across Florida. Known for its hands-on, field-based expertise and strong regional reputation, the business offers a stable, collaborative environment with clear growth as it expands into new markets. They are hiring 2 x Business Development/Account Executives to drive territory growth across the Tampa and Orlando regions.

Your new role

In this hybrid, field-based role, you will drive new business through inbound referrals and self-generated leads, balancing time between the office and meeting clients across your territory. You will manage the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and estimating through proposals, presentations, and close—while continuing to build and grow long-term client relationships. Working closely with the team on bids and lead distribution, this is a true end-to-end role blending business development with account management.

What you will need to succeed

• 2–5+ years’ experience in business development or account management within construction, infrastructure, environmental, utilities, or field service environments
• Strong relationship builder, confident engaging clients on-site, in the field, and at industry events
• Commercially minded with experience supporting bids, proposals, and client presentations
• Able to manage multiple live opportunities across varying project timelines in a fast-paced, service-led environment
• Comfortable using CRM systems to track pipeline activity and maintain client visibility
• Self-starter who takes ownership of generating opportunities and developing long-term client partnerships
• Willing to travel locally for site visits, client meetings, and networking across the territory
