The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that is in line with the company's growth objectives. This includes the identification, pursuit, and closure of new business opportunities across various healthcare entities. The role also involves building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects and strategic partners, leading contract negotiations, and managing relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers. The VP will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention, as well as to represent the company at industry events and provide market intelligence for strategic planning. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive business development or sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years' specifically in the healthcare industry. A proven track record in building and scaling revenue-generating partnerships within the healthcare sector is essential, as is a deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including providers, payers, health systems, and healthcare technology. The role requires an individual with a strong network of existing relationships, particularly in the South Florida market or the national healthcare sector.
