Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a large, multi-campus health system
• Float across multiple Adult Health units including Observation, Med/Surg, PCU, and IMC as part of a Resource Float Pool
• Occasionally support the Emergency Department or PACU by caring for Adult Health patients with inpatient orders awaiting bed placement
• Deliver care to a diverse patient population ranging from observation-level to intermediate and progressive care acuity
• Adapt to varying unit environments across two campuses, including a Level I and a Level IV Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license with no disciplinary actions on record (verified within the last 30 days)
• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience working across multiple units or departments in a float pool capacity
• Familiarity with academic medical center or quaternary care environments
