Commercial Lines Account Manager
Insurance One Agency, LC — Dallas, TX

Insurance One Agency, LC is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Dallas office. This position is responsible for managing and servicing an assigned book of business while building strong, lasting relationships with clients, insurance carriers, producers, and internal team members.

The ideal candidate is a client-focused, self-motivated professional who is comfortable working independently, has strong Commercial Lines knowledge, and understands the importance of responsive service, accuracy, follow-through, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and service an assigned portfolio of Commercial Lines accounts while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding existing policies, coverage, billing, certificates, endorsements, claims, and other service needs.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, payments, certificates, and other client requests.
• Assist with new business by gathering underwriting information, reviewing exposures, obtaining quotes, evaluating coverage options, and preparing proposals.
• Work closely with producers to identify client needs, round out accounts, and develop new business opportunities.
• Review existing policies and renewals for accuracy, coverage needs, limits, exposures, and potential gaps.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, underwriters, and other business partners to obtain information, negotiate solutions, and resolve issues.
• Review audits, policies, endorsements, and other documents for accuracy and coordinate corrections when necessary.
• Handle customer concerns and service issues from initial contact through resolution, including appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, activities, and documentation within AMS360 and other agency systems.
• Utilize carrier websites, rating systems, agency management systems, and other technology to efficiently manage accounts.
• Collaborate with producers and other team members while sharing knowledge and assisting with questions and complex service issues.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and other agency initiatives as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Texas Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance products, coverages, rating, underwriting practices, and carrier procedures.
• AMS360 experience strongly preferred .
• Strong client engagement and relationship-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional phone presence.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle challenging client situations professionally and find effective solutions.
• Strong computer and technology skills, including agency management systems, carrier portals, and rating tools.
• Personal accountability, professionalism, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work collaboratively with producers, account managers, carriers, and other team members.
