Details Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital environment Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population Rotating day/night shift schedule: 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a, 3x12-hour shifts Shifts may vary to meet hospital operational needs, though preferred shift will be accommodated when possible Requires working at least every other holiday Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required within the past 12 months Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation Additional Information Provide direct patient care to med/surg telemetry patients Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing during orientation with up to 2 attempts to achieve a passing score COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate Returning permanent employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to Cleveland Clinic hospitals RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process American Traveler Job ID P-770642.
