Job SummaryThe Program Assistant is the welcoming face of the Community Center, greeting visitors, answering phones, and helping connect community members of all ages to programs and resources that meet their needs. This role combines strong customer service with administrative support, including fee collection, detailed Salesforce data entry, and thoughtful referrals to internal and external programs. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable asking questions to ensure every visitor receives helpful, well-rounded guidance.ResponsibilitiesManage the front desk dutiesEnsure the lobby is equipped with up-to-date information (e.g., flyers)Support community center functionsAttend weekly staff meetingsWork closely with other program assistantsMake reminder calls for enrichment classes and upcoming eventsPerform data entry into SalesforceSupport food distributionsSupport emergency assistance when neededProvide general administrative supportEducationHigh School Diploma RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesVery strong organizational skillsExcellent customer service.Excellent spoken and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsComputer literate and proficient in use of Windows, Excel, MS Word.Familiarity with community resources.Willing to work flexible schedule, to include some evenings and weekends as needed.Ability to read and understand documents, to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of families and staffExperience using the ‘Asset Based Community Development Approach’ and/or ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ a plus.Knowledge of TDPRS requirements regarding licensed school-age care programsComputer ProficiencyProficient in Windows, Excel, MS WordLanguage RequirementsBilingual Preferred (Spanish/English) #J-18808-Ljbffr
