Job Description
The selected Registered Respiratory Therapist will work in the main Respiratory Services department at Mission Hospital, which is a key provider in the region's healthcare landscape. The hospital is a referral center for a variety of specialized services, including being the only Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center in the area. Clinical focus includes adult service lines and specialized care in the NICU and pediatric units.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients across different critical care units.
- Utilize and manage a range of respiratory equipment such as GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, and non-invasive ventilation devices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care in both adult and pediatric settings.
- Document all interventions and patient responses in the Cerner EMR system.
- Support rapid response and critical care procedures as needed.
Required Experience
- Active North Carolina Respiratory License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Certifications/Licensure
