Accounting Assistant

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional to build hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment. You'll play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations while learning directly from experienced staff.
Responsibilities
Process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with monthly reconciliations and general ledger entries
Support month-end close activities
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Process expense reports and vendor payments
Assist with data entry and reporting in [QuickBooks/Excel/ERP system]
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account status
Support senior accountants and the Controller with ad hoc projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
0–1 year of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships count)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred (not required)
Coursework or internship experience in AP/AR, reconciliations, or financial reporting
Interest in pursuing CPA licensure
