Experience the Premier difference. The Role Premier Eurocase is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our Accounting & Finance function. This role combines operational accounting leadership with strategic financial planning to support our growing manufacturing operations. The Controller will oversee financial reporting, month-end processes, general ledger activities, inventory valuation, and budgeting/forecasting while providing leadership to a dedicated team. This is a key position that will drive financial accuracy, compliance, and insights to support executive decision-making. Supervisory Duties Responsibilities Lead and develop a team including a Staff Accountant, Contract Staff Accountant, AR Specialist, AP Specialist, Buyer, and Junior Buyer. Oversee all general accounting functions, including month-end close processes, General Ledger (GL) maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Manage inventory valuation and perform related cost accounting activities to ensure accurate costing and reporting. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic planning and business growth. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls; support audits and financial reviews. Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on financial insights, variance analysis, and operational improvements. Optimize accounting processes and systems (including Sage) for efficiency and accuracy. Handle additional finance operations such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchasing support as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required; CPA or CMA preferred. 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant hands‑on month‑end close and General Ledger (GL) expertise. Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and develop accounting teams. Experience with Sage accounting software (required); ADP experience is a plus. Manufacturing industry experience preferred, particularly with inventory valuation and cost accounting. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, on‑site manufacturing environment (hybrid option available).
