Oncology Sales Representative - Minneapolis, MN

Merck seeks an Oncology Sales Representative for the Minneapolis territory, covering Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The role involves engaging healthcare customers, educating stakeholders about oncology products, and achieving sales goals through field-based activities and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales goals for the Minneapolis territory in collaboration with team members
• Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, identify needs, and build trusted business relationships
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for oncology products using approved messaging and resources
• Analyze drug distribution channels and purchasing patterns across outpatient, inpatient, hospital, and GPO settings
• Develop and execute short- and long-term account plans in coordination with Customer Team Leader and local team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 8+ years equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive
• Willingness to travel 10-15% overnight within assigned territory
• Reside in or near the Minneapolis district
• Preferred: 2+ years oncology field sales experience selling to oncology customers
• Preferred: Documented history of strong sales or oncology clinical role performance
