Internal Audit Manager

P&C Insurance - Risk- Based Audit Manager (Buffalo, NY) Hybrid work week. Working with our split partner, this ground‑floor opportunity is to create and lead a Risk‑Based Internal Audit Unit. You will set strategy, establish protocols, develop training manuals, manage and execute the audit program, and more. Responsibilities Set strategy and protocols for the Risk‑Based Internal Audit Unit. Develop training manuals and audit documentation. Design and execute the audit program across underwriting, claims, governance, compliance, premium billing, reinsurance, MGA/TPA, loss reserving, internal controls, and financial reporting. Report audit findings and recommendations to the CFO. Qualifications CPA or CIA strongly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of P&C or public internal audit experience. Exposure to reinsurance structures and fronting arrangements. In‑depth audit experience in underwriting, claims, governance, compliance, premium billing/collections, reinsurance, MGA/TPAs, loss reserving, internal controls, and financial reporting.
