Receptionist Position
The purpose of the receptionist is to greet and direct visitors; compiling and distributing materials and reports; and responding to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources.
Essential functions include:
- Answers school/District site telephones for the purpose of responding to inquiries, transferring calls, and taking messages.
- Greets and assists individuals entering the building for the purpose of responding to inquiries and directing individuals to appropriate locations, in accordance with established building security procedures.
- Assists parents and school staff for the purpose of ensuring efficient daily site operation.
- Responds to inquiries from internal and external parties for the purpose of providing information in compliance with established guidelines or directions and facilitating communication among parties.
- Maintains building information for the purpose of providing updated and accurate reference information.
- Performs general clerical and administrative support functions for the purpose of supporting school operations.
Requirements include:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
Physical requirements include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as needed to move objects. Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
Education/Training requires minimum three (3) years experience or an equivalent combination of training and education.
Clearances include a Criminal Background Check.
FLSA Status/Work Calendar is Non-Exempt/180.
