Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day Shift)

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Employment Type: Contract (Part-time, 2-3 shifts/month)

License/Certs: Minnesota License (Required), Board Certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Experience: Prior oncology experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $124.12/hour

What You'll Do

• Manage outpatient hematology and oncology patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
• Collaborate with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, nurses, and support staff
• Support patient care with assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up in Epic EMR
• Provide education and counseling to patients across all ages
• Assist with care coordination and patient navigation
• Support the infusion center and outpatient clinic operations

What You Need

• Minnesota license as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)
• Board certified as NP or PA
• Experience in oncology or related fields preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and patient management skills

About the Assignment This outpatient-focused hematology/oncology practice is part of a hospital with 686 beds, dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care. The role involves supporting patients with complex treatment regimens, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and working within a modern Epic EMR system. The position offers the opportunity to practice in a community setting while engaging with a broader regional cancer network through AHCI.
