Job Description

We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team to support day-to-day procurement operations. This role partners closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing hands-on purchasing responsibilities, reporting and vendor negotiations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Inventory on parts requirements for stock purchasing.
• Review and process material requisitions
• Evaluate supply chain availability and pricing to determine the optimal approach.
• Once authorized, create purchase orders and distribute to vendors
• Communicate via phone & email with the vendors and internal customers
• Administer subcontractor processes and put work out to bid
• Negotiate contract rates for external services and purchasing of materials
• Contract all 3rd party technicians and equipment for installations and services.
• Control delivery of various items required for construction site installation processes
• Negotiate national deals for products and services we purchase
• Create and manage purchase orders and documents related to 3rd party service vendors
• Coordinate the process of purchase order receipt, invoice application for both MYISIS and SAGE PO
• Assist with ad hoc assignments as assigned by supervisor

Who YOU are

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance on site

 

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
• Experience with electronics, electrical components, or consumer products preferred
• Vendor sourcing, pricing negotiation, and purchase order management experience
• MISYS and/or SAGE experience preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and data tracking tools

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or related field is a plus
