Job Description
Emergency Department Nurse

Schedule

Night shift from 18:30 to 07:00, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week with the option to pick up extra shifts.

Assignment Details

13-week contract with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Requirements

• Current Washington State license or Multi-state license
• Proof of 6-hour suicide training
• Verification of demographics from Nursys
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Charge experience required
• Emergency Department nursing experience
• Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department setting
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage emergency situations effectively
• Educate patients and families on health-related topics
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Compliance / Notes

RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be pre-approved and submitted at the end of the contract. Full availability for scheduling is required.
