Real Estate Paralegal

Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinancing
- Prepare, review, and manage closing documents, contracts, title materials, and closing binders
- Coordinate and manage closings, including scheduling, document execution, lender communication, and disbursements
- Utilize closing and transaction management software (e.g., Qualia, E-Closing, or similar platforms)
- Assist with probate and estate-related real estate matters as needed
- Maintain organized and compliant client files
- Handle light accounting functions, including wire transfers, escrow activity, and reconciliations
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and third parties
- Provide administrative and project coordination support to attorneys and the broader legal team
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required
- Paralegal certificate (real estate focus preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years of residential real estate paralegal experience (required)
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions and closing procedures
- Familiarity with probate/estate administration is a plus
- Experience with legal tech/closing platforms (Qualia, E-Closing, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
