Accounting Administrator - A Shift - Dakota City, NE

Job Details This position is responsible for research and resolution of customer deductions for specific distribution channels and divisions. The role involves researching and reviewing all customer short payments in Dispute, monitoring promotional spending, alerting management of overspends and incorrect promotional issues, processing customer payments through Vistex, validating deductions and coding in SAP systems, and maintaining appropriate approvals. The candidate will also keep an up-to-date customer profile and work cross‑functionally with management, brokers, sales, accounting, transportation, and billing. Responsibilities Research and review all customer short payments in Dispute. Monitor promotional spending and alert management of overspends and incorrect promotional issues. Process customer payments through Vistex when appropriate. Validate deductions and code them in SAP systems, keeping appropriate approvals. Process accounts daily and maintain updated customer profiles. Collaborate with management and cross‑functional teams (Brokers, Sales, Accounting, Transportation, Billing). Maintain organized balances for monthly department close and support reporting. Meet deadlines without constant monitoring. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of office experience. Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Tyson Systems SAP, Vistex, Deal Capture, and TBM preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of multiple business‑unit accounting requirements and general ledger coding. Work Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM with occasional Saturday work as needed.
