What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment
• Manage ventilators, critical care drips, and cardiac monitoring
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and measure cardiac strips
• Assist with interventions including chest tubes, drains, and hemodynamic lines (Art lines/CVP)
• Administer medications and TPA for stroke patients; support conscious sedation procedures
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and support trauma stabilization
• Collaborate with hospitalist team, ER physicians, and other medical staff
• Chart accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during high-acuity situations

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or applicable state
• Minimum of 2 years ER/ED experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
• Demonstrable skills in ventilator management, cardiac rhythm identification, trauma care, and critical care interventions
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
