Multi-Site Assistant Property Manager-Affordable Housing

Are you an experienced Assistant Property Manager with a background in affordable housing, LIHTC/Tax Credit, HUD, or Section 8? Do you know your way around recertifications, resident files, compliance requirements, and RealPage/OneSite? What You'll Do Complete annual and interim recertifications and maintain accurate, compliant resident files for HUD, Section 8, and LIHTC/Tax Credit programs. Prepare resident correspondence, required notifications, Notices to Quit, and other documentation while ensuring timely follow-up. Support day-to-day operations across multiple affordable housing communities, including resident concerns, compliance, reporting, paperwork, and administrative responsibilities. Communicate professionally with residents, applicants, management, housing agencies, and community partners. Utilize RealPage/OneSite and other property management systems to maintain resident information, documentation, and reporting. Travel between assigned Cambridge-area properties as needed while managing multiple priorities and compliance deadlines. What We're Looking For High School Diploma/GED required Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in related field or industry Knowledge of OneSite Property Management software a plus, but not required Section 8, Tax Credit and EIV experience strongly preferred (affordable properties) If YES, we want to meet you! Wingate is looking for an organized and experienced Assistant Property Manager to support a multi-site affordable housing portfolio in Cambridge, MA. You'll be based out of one primary property while providing support to additional nearby communities. Our portfolio includes a mix of HUD, Section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit, and Department of Mental Health (DMH) units. We're looking for someone who understands affordable housing compliance, can manage deadlines and detailed paperwork, and knows how to communicate professionally with residents and the property management team. You should have hands‑on experience with recertifications and understand the importance of accurate documentation and compliance. RealPage/OneSite experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required. You'll also need to be organized, detail-oriented, professional, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a busy multi‑site environment.
