Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling flexibility; 1:4 patient ratio on days and nights (1:5 on weekends); 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; 48-hour workweeks approved; no on-call required; floating between units may be required

• Specialized 29-bed Neuro-Telemetry unit including 4 dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit beds with continuous EEG monitoring
• Diverse patient population including TIA/stroke, trauma, neurosurgical patients (ACDF, TLIF, XLIF, craniotomy), subdural hematoma, and epilepsy patients
• EPIC Electronic Health Record system with 12 hours of paid orientation
• Interdisciplinary team approach with strong support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers welcome with dedicated, qualified mentors available for optimal onboarding

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, cardiac drip management and titration (including Cardene and Heparin), vasoactive drip management, insulin drip titration, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management
• Experience with any EMR charting system required; EPIC experience preferred
• Community hospital and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
