Pearlfisher is an independent, strategy-first brand design agency. We create irresistible human connection for brands around the world – and we’re looking for a Strategy Director in New York to help lead the thinking behind it.

What you’ll do

• Shape brand, portfolio and visual strategies rooted in real consumer insight
\n
• Lead research, workshops and innovation projects from first insight to validation
\n
• Write briefs that inspire our creative team and sharpen our design
\n
• Champion strategy in creative reviews, pitches and client partnerships
\n
• Help scope projects so strategy is properly valued (and budgeted)
\n
• Create thought leadership that puts Pearlfisher’s point of view out there
\n
• Mentor junior strategists and build a culture of curiosity and collaboration
\n

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years in brand strategy or strategic planning
\n
• Experience leading complex, global projects for high-profile clients
\n
• Strong senior client relationships and a commercial head
\n
• A natural presenter who makes big ideas clear and compelling
\n
• Experience managing or mentoring others
\n

The details

The salary for this role is $150,000–$160,000. Individual compensation depends on job-related factors, including your experience, skills and level of responsibility. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, parental leave and a 401(k), with more details shared during the interview process.
