As an Accounting Clerk, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.Responsibilities:Support accounts receivable activities and maintain accurate commission transaction recordsProcess and balance daily commission transactions within AgencyBlocReview and classify revenue transactions for proper allocation by subsidiary, general ledger account, class, department, and locationModify and import carrier commission statements from Excel files into AgencyBlocInvestigate and resolve commission discrepancies, missing payments, and transaction errorsGenerate commission reports using AgencyBloc and other reporting toolsCollaborate with internal departments to establish and maintain accurate commission split arrangementsProvide responsive customer service to agents, carriers, and colleagues regarding commission-related inquiriesQualifications:Required QualificationsHigh school diploma required; currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferredStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to handle confidential and time-sensitive information with professionalismStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePointAbility to quickly learn new software systems and business applicationsPreferred QualificationsPrevious internship, coursework, or experience related to accounting, finance, or bookkeepingExperience working with financial systems, CRM platforms, or reporting toolsFamiliarity with AgencyBloc, Tipalti, QuickBooks, Concur, or Adobe AcrobatCustomer service experience in a professional environmentUnderstanding of accounts receivable processes and basic accounting principlesCompensationHourly Range: $20–$22 hourlyBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability coverage401(k)Generous paid time offProfessional development opportunitiesThis position is Hybrid.
