Contract Biller (PASSport)

Government Contract Biller (Hybrid – NYC) Position Overview Seeking a Government Contract Biller to support billing, reporting, and financial compliance for government-funded programs. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting invoices, maintaining contract budgets, and ensuring accuracy across all reporting and reimbursement activities. Schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Hours: 35 hours per week Salary (perm) : $75,000 Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit monthly government contract bills through PASSport system Run and analyze financial and billing reports using Excel Create, validate, and submit invoices in compliance with contract requirements Maintain and update contract budgets and assist with budget modification Reconcile billing data to supporting financial records and general ledger Perform journal entries related to contract revenue and receivables Generate recurring financial and program reports for internal and external stakeholders Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all submissions and reporting deadlines Work closely with program and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2+ years of government contract billing experience (required) Strong experience with DHS and/or DOHMH billing (must have) Hands-on experience with PASSport billing syste m Advanced Excel skills, including: Financial formulas and reporting models Experience with financial reporting, billing reconciliation, and journal entries Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
