Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager

An investment management firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager. Responsibilities: The Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager will:- Calculate waterfalls, management fees, carried interest, strike NAV packages, etc.
- Confirm if they've reviewed or worked on partners capital, capital call / distributions
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 5+ years of Public / Private Accounting and/or Fund Admin experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or a related field
- Fund Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of fundamental Accounting knowledge, including Credits, Debits, etc.
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Private Equity Real Estate experience
