Healthy Wave Counseling Center is seeking dynamic and compassionate full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

This remote position allows for a flexible work-life balance while still engaging in collaborative approaches with our team through digital platforms. Therapists will operate within a supportive outpatient office environment that values innovation and professional growth. The standard work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that accurately identify patient needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to effectively treat clients.
• Lead and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to nurture community connections and provide guidance on common mental health issues.
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency response during acute mental health situations.
• Offer educational resources to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with ethical and legal standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy methodologies and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapists at Healthy Wave Counseling Center will work primarily with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals, couples, and families from varying backgrounds who are navigating complex mental health conditions. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed mental health assessments and craft effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions to a diverse clientele.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong capacity for communication with clients and colleagues alike.
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional development.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and relevant technology applications for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to function as a collaborative team member within a multidisciplinary framework.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings or community mental health organizations will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in leading group therapy sessions and facilitating psychoeducational workshops.
• Knowledge of culturally responsive therapy practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
