About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Construction industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing all incoming payments, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely collections. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients regarding payment status and resolving any payment discrepancies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Construction industry
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
• Experience with month-end closing procedures

Responsibilities:

• Process and record all incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with clients regarding payment status and resolve any payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely collections
• Prepare and distribute invoices to clients
• Assist with month-end closing procedures

Skills:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will utilize your strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to accurately process and record all incoming payments. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in communicating with clients regarding payment status and resolving any payment discrepancies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage will be beneficial in maintaining accurate financial records.
