Job Description

Freshworks is seeking a Manager of Social Media to lead our organic social presence and shape how the Freshworks voice shows up across every platform. This role owns social strategy, content calendar, and day-to-day execution, turning brand moments, product news, and customer stories into content that earns attention and builds community. This is a senior individual contributor role that sets social strategy with minimal oversight and is expected to influence peers and leaders across marketing.

You'll partner closely with brand, content, product marketing, and demand gen to make sure every post, thread, and video feels unmistakably Freshworks. You'll also serve as a go-to advisor to senior stakeholders and executives on how social should show up around major moments, and help shape how the broader marketing org thinks about organic channels. If you're a social-first storyteller who lives in the feed, knows what makes B2B content actually get shared, and wants to build a modern social function inside a global SaaS brand, you'll feel right at home.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in social media management or social marketing, ideally with B2B SaaS or technology experience
• Proven track record building and executing social strategies that drive engagement, community growth, and measurable business impact, and a track record of doing so with a high degree of autonomy
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex products feel clear, human, and compelling in short-form content
• Hands-on experience managing content calendars, publishing tools, and social analytics platforms
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with brand, content, design, product marketing, and executive stakeholders, including experience directly advising senior leaders (VP+) on social approach
• A sharp eye for what's working on social right now and the instinct to know what's next
• Comfortable balancing always-on execution with longer-term strategic planning
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to represent the brand voice across public-facing channels
• Experience mentoring or managing junior team members, contractors, or agency partners
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving situations and make sound judgment calls without close oversight

The annual base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $180,000 Base Salary.

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
