About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff for Budget and Capital Program Management. The successful candidate will be a key leader in a division that oversees a substantial capital program and operating budget, with a focus on financial planning, project performance, and agencywide budget and capital strategy. This role is pivotal in influencing the planning, funding, and delivery of critical infrastructure projects, as well as shaping the financial and operational strategy of the agency. The Chief of Staff will serve as the principal strategic advisor to the Associate Commissioner, coordinate high-priority initiatives, and ensure effective collaboration across various divisions. Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree and at least 5 years' of full-time paid experience, with a minimum of 2 years' in a managerial or executive capacity related to business promotion or urban economic planning. The role requires a professional who can lead executive-level analyses, prepare briefing materials, and represent the Associate Commissioner in various meetings. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for tracking strategic initiatives, developing performance metrics, and managing processes to improve the oversight of both capital and operating programs. The position demands a candidate with a strong background in financial and operational management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
