Project Administrator

Job TitleJob Costing & Project Controls: Maintain accurate job cost reporting, analyze cost variances, track committed costs, and prepare Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules to ensure project financial health and margin visibility.Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow: Partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Operations leadership to develop project budgets, forecasts, revenue projections, and cash flow plans throughout the project lifecycle.Contract Administration Support: Monitor financial impacts of contracts, change orders, claims, retainage, and subcontractor agreements to ensure accurate project reporting and risk mitigation.Construction Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal and state regulations, contract requirements, lien laws, certified payroll requirements (when applicable), and subcontractor insurance and bonding requirements.Project Performance Analysis: Provide leadership with detailed reporting on project profitability, earned revenue, backlog, cost-to-complete projections, and operational performance metrics.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of cost management experience within the commercial construction, general contracting, specialty contracting, or design-build industry.Strong understanding of construction accounting principles including job costing, WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, retainage, change orders, and cost-to-complete forecasting.Experience supporting project teams in tracking budgets, subcontractor costs, labor productivity, and project profitability.Experience LevelIntermediate LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Rowley, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.00 - $64.00/hr.
