Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support a large, clinical nonprofit in Alexandria, VA. This job is Metro accessible on the yellow line. It offers free on-site parking (even for contractors). We are seeking someone with a couple of years of experience to support a recruiting team. There is a chance of extension, but for now listed through 12/23/2026. This is not a role for an experienced recruiter. It's more of a coordinator/administration function. Responsibilities: Candidate scheduling support for Talent Acquisition team members. Activities include: Coordinate complex panel interviews; and Hiring Manager interviews as requested Partner with department administrative staff on colleagues’ availability; and liaise with candidates Coordinate with Hiring Managers and panelists including problem solving to find available schedules and manage scheduling conflicts including follow up Compose and send candidate communications and interview logistics and details Provide support and answer questions that may arise during interviews Answer candidate questions, being a resource, responding to follow up communication and triage as applicable Candidate interview feedback Partner with Recruiters to create post interview surveys Collect feedback and follow up as needed Complete data tabulation and feedback analysis with a high degree of accuracy Send interview feedback reports to Recruiters for reviewRecruitment mailbox support Oversee the Recruit Inbox for general and applicant questions, respond, and triage as applicable Monitor the inbox for candidate interview acceptances Recruitment Operations As requested, based on volume, support Recruiters with reviewing candidate applications and conducting telephone interviews for support-level positions Utilize HR tools to conduct skills assessments and reference checks Provide additional Recruiter support as requested Perform other department support activities as requested Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent level of experience, training and education. Minimum of 2-3 years of HR administrative or operations related experience within fast paced environments; and at least one year of recruitment-related experience Experience with scheduling complex meetings and/or interviews using Outlook and being able to proactively think of solutions with availability Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel; experience with Zoom, Teams, or virtual meeting software; and an openness to embracing new technology Exceptional customer service skills and delivery Ability to anticipate needs and see the bigger picture High level of professionalism, and integrity Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening) Multitask oriented and being able to juggle a high volume of work with strong attention to detail within a team-based environment supporting multiple colleagues and adapting to different work styles Basic knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures, employment/labor laws and regulations Desirable but not required: Experience working with HRIS/ATS; having experience with Workday is a plus Experience working for non-profit organizations ADA Requirements: Extended periods seated or standing at a desk. High use of computer and other office technology equipment.
