Description:Drive-in only.Amount of coverage needed per month varies.Patients per day: 20-30 as a collective service.Patient population includes all ages.Department has a closed ICU.Admissions need to be accepted by the intensivist on duty.The Admit physician strictly handles hospital admissions.The Swing physician also manages admissions.Nights include admissions and cross coverage.There are two physicians on duty from 6 PM to 6 AM each night.During these hours, the Swing physician and night physician cross cover patients in the hospital, except in the ICU.The Admit physician works from 6 AM to 6 PM and focuses solely on admissions.The Swing physician works from 4 PM to 4 AM, also doing admissions.The night shift runs from 6 PM to 6 AM with responsibilities for admissions and cross coverage.Cerner is the electronic medical record system used.The hospital has a bed size of 270.Interdisciplinary support is available.Candidates should have recent case logs available.Medical records must be completed in a timely manner.Providers will be contacted regarding any deficiencies in their records.Recent logs are necessary for consideration.Providers must adhere to vaccination requirements.
