Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in a local elementary setting, supporting students from diverse backgrounds. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity spans a maternity leave from mid-November to late January, serving students in both resource programs and the RISE program for moderate disabilities. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 50 elementary-aged students, fostering growth in communication and language skills.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Active Washington State SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Demonstrated experience in school settings, with preference for resource and moderate disabilities programs
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities
• Skill in adapting therapy approaches to a range of ages and needs

Role responsibilities include:

• Providing direct speech-language services to elementary students as outlined in IEPs
• Evaluating and documenting student progress toward individualized goals
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Participating in IEP meetings and sharing professional recommendations
• Adhering to district and state requirements for therapy and documentation
