Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 3 years of recent OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.

Job Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM,
• Staff work across a variety of surgical specialty areas including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS,
• On-call required weekdays from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM,
• Weekend on-call required from 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday,
• 40-minute response time required for call,
• Call assignments rotate on a set schedule, with 2-3 weekday calls in the first 6-week period and a weekend call in the following 6-week period,

Job Requirements

• Active KY state or compact RN license required at time of submission,
• BLS certification required,
• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience required,
• Level 1 trauma center experience desired,
• Experience in Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS surgical specialties required,
• No licensure hits accepted for consideration,
• Two supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted for this position,
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from employment for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler,
