Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift float position requiring MA RN licensure and prior Level 1 ICU or MICU experience.

Job Details

• 32-bed Medical ICU also licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients, split across two floors,
• Float position covering Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC units,
• Patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 for higher acuity cases,
• Common cases include sepsis, ESRD, AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure,
• Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours per week (19:00-07:30),
• 30 minute meal break included in shift,
• No on-call responsibilities,
• 48-hour contracts will be accommodated,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required,
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association),
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 ICU, or 2 years preferred experience in a MICU setting,
• New grad RNs with only 1 year of experience may not meet unit requirements,
