Mechanical Estimator

Mechanical EstimatorHilton Mechanical is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial and commercial piping projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and millwright systems. You will review project plans and specifications, perform material and labor takeoffs, and develop competitive bids that win work and protect margins.Work will primarily be performed at our office in Alpharetta, GA.Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for industrial and commercial piping, HVAC, plumbing, and millwright scopesPerform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipmentPrepare and submit complete, accurate cost estimates and bid proposalsSolicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractorsCollaborate with project managers and field staff to refine scope and pricingMaintain organized records of bids, costs, and historical dataPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of estimating experience in mechanical, piping, or commercial/industrial constructionAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProficiency with estimation software (takeoff and bidding platforms)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and millwright systemsStrong math, organizational, and attention-to-detail skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and meet deadlinesPass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkBenefits:Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualificationsConsistent overtime opportunitiesHealth, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid holidays and PTO401(k)Steady work with a growing company
