FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Responsibilities You will review and analyze accounting reports to ensure funds are available to carry out approved programs. You will review financial condition of each operating program to ensure that operations are continuing in accordance with current authorization. You will develop and prepare financial statistical data for review and analysis and provides detailed narrative explanation of any deviation from established goals. You will manage the annual year-end closeout of Operation and Maintenance funding. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing or advising on work in any phase or system of budget administration. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
