Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse client caseload by establishing effective working relationships, fostering trust, and guiding clients towards their mental health goals.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, stability, and the need for future appointments, while initiating discharge plans when appropriate.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to design, implement, and oversee person-centered treatment programs tailored to their unique needs.
\n
• Ensure all documentation is thorough, maintaining accurate and timely progress notes and client records.
\n
• Conduct thorough intake evaluations to identify client needs and formulate treatment plans.
\n
• Meet the weekly requirements for individual therapy sessions, providing impactful therapy that drives client progress.

• Engage in one-on-one supervision sessions for professional development and consultation.
\n
• Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, working in tandem with other healthcare providers to promote comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients comprise a wide demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role as an LPC is vital in creating tailored treatment approaches, leading to improved patient outcomes and overall community mental health improvement.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Active License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey with no restrictions on practice.

• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience working in a clinical outpatient setting.

• Proficient in computer skills, including experience with Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
\n
• Comfortable conducting comprehensive intake assessments.
